Jane Todd Butcher is
originally from the Midwest, but has adopted the
Carolinas as her home for most of her life. The
richness and variety of the Carolina landscapes
from the mountains to the coast continues to
provide the source for her art. She received a
B.A. in Art from Illinois State University, and
has earned signature membership in the South
Carolina Watermedia Society and the Georgia
Watercolor Society. She teaches workshops in
water media and mixed media painting throughout
the Southeast. Jane’s work has received many
awards and is included in numerous corporate and
private collections across the country.
