Discovering and Inventing from Photographic Sources

Imagination is an artist's greatest asset. It connects the "what is", to the "what could be". In this workshop you will use your imagination to open new creative possibilities for applying painting strategies. Your personal artistic goal--realistic, stylistic, or non-objective, landscape, portrait, or still-life; any "..ism" you have ever heard of has been influenced by photography. Accept it! Utilize it!

Bring your favorite slides, photos, or printed material. All levels of experience welcome!

Daily brain storming on strategy, design, content and form. Daily demonstrations of technique. One to one assessment of individual works or slides is included as an ongoing class activity.
