Bethany -Still a Crossroads. The store that you see was built in 1893. Mr. McGill, who runs the store, is the descendent of early settlers, who first ran a grist mill on a creek near this site. He told us they settled here in the 1700's. Their first general store was built on a site across the busy highway from this store in the early 1800's. |
