Lake Wylie

Lake Wylie - Buster Boyd Bridge. The bridge was named for William Monroe "Buster" Boyd, the man who championed the idea of the bridge and was instrumental in getting it built in 1923. Improvements were made in the 1960's. This bridge will soon be replaced by a modern bridge with a higher clearance and more lanes.
