Fort Mill |
Fort Mill - The name is attributed to the Webb Grist Mill and the Catawba Indian Fort that once existed here. The fist resident was Thomas Spratt who was given special permission to settle here by the Catawba Indians in gratitude for aiding them in land disputes with the Cherokee Indians. |

| The Peach Stand has become a local landmark and continues to serve Fort Mill. Follow highway 160 across I-77. The Peach Stand is at the intersection of highway 21 by-pass and 160. Take highway 160 into town. Turn left onto Congress and right onto Academy. Turn right onto Withers and follow in front of the White Plant. | |||||
