Newport - Crossroads

Known to most York County residents as the place to get one's drivers license.  However, Newport has been a crossroad and farming community for over 100 years. The only business besides the DMV was a lumber yard and a gun shop.

Update:

The house was torn down several years ago to make room for something that is yet to be built.

The entire area has changed since 2005 when a Walmart shopping plaza opened along with many other development type businesses.
